There is also a notice that this API will be taken offline in Dec 2018 and replaced by a Professional API. Although they do a have a public API this does not seem to have a facility for downloading any historical data. I recently found myself wanting to download historical cryto data in order to do some data analysis. Habits take effort to change and coinmarketcap is a habit for many people myself included which will be hard to break for as long as the site remains “good enough”. Despite it’s flaws it remains a hugely popular site for checking cryto prices and I find myself going back there daily out of habit despite other compelling and arguably better options like onchainfx. So if you just have 2-3 different (major) coins this app is great.Coinmarketcap is a great resource for crypto prices and data. Not sure if they offer an API but maybe there is an other source for that data. More smaller coins like those traded on Latoken. You can't use the menubar for more than a few coins and always having to click in the menu to open the list is a bit annoying. Add a standalone window mode that could be displayed all the time instead of only menu bar. Maybe ask to donate some ETH or JSEcoins as users of this app would have some of them :-) Maybe you should offer this app for download on your webpage with a donate possibility (NO PayPal). ATM its free so its acceptable but I would like to pay a small amount / buy a usefull tool.

Only distributed via AppStore and I hate any AppStore and would never buy any software there. Even better would be to select the currency for each coin individually. For example I would like to see all my coins in ETH but than ETH will be shown in $ and I can't select EUR for that. Not only be able to select the base currency but also the 'fallback' currency. There are only a few things I would like to see in a future update: The app itself is good and does what is stated in the description pretty well.
